After a short briefing from your guide, you’ll begin your three-and-a-half-hour hike along the ‘Sentiero degli Dei’ — the Path of the Gods. This breathtaking trail, which has entranced generations of poets and artists, takes you through wild, open countryside and offers spectacular views of the Amalfi Coast and Mount Pertuso from 1,500 feet above sea level. Legend says the trench was cut into the earth by the gods as they stampeded down from heaven to save Ulysses from the mermaids’ song.
